You should be redirected to our dedicated portscan server in about two minutes. This test is hosted externally because our ISP currently blocks some of the ports being tested. Therefore, if your browser or security software complains that you are being redirected to another site, there is no need for concern, the redirection is by design.
If you run through a proxy server or firewall, you may see access attempts from our IP addresses 75.146.8.4x, 72.4.143.2x or 216.87.186.33 in your firewall/security log.
If you are not authorized to do a port scan of this IP address (for example, if you are using a company computer or are on a company network), please close this browser window before the scan begins. Neither you nor we need the hassle of explaining to your network administrator why our server just scanned your company's computer/network.
If your firewall has an Intrusion Prevention System, it may also block receipt of the report we send to your browser.
It can take from 30 seconds to 2 minutes to complete the scan. The amount of time it takes to do the scan depends on the speed and quality of the connection, the number of blocked/stealth ports being tested, and of course the current load on our web server. The browser window may be blank, or appear to be frozen during the scan, so please be patient.
If you agree that you wish to have your current public IP address scanned for some commonly used TCP services/ports, you may click here or on the DCS logo image at the top of this page to immediately start the scan.
